It's your task to guide AIRWOLF through the caverns to destroy the base's defence control boxes so that you can penetrate to the heart of the complex and rescue the scientists... GAMEPLAY : AIRWOLF bears some slight similarities to the old arcade classic DEFENDER, with a nod in the direction of GALAXIANS as well. You must shoot your way through the defence fields and electric fields protecting the caverns within the base, and avoid the incoming fire from the large and strategically-positioned guns. As well as this, you must also prevent the AIRWOLF from crashing into the base's walls and the various obstacles around it, which is not an easy task! |

This game is horrendously bad; I love how you can fly from one screen to the next and crash instantly, not being able to do anything about it!

Just watched the .rzx replay and xmikex and Jamie Angus scored 7529 by rapping it quite a few times, and ended game with 8 copters still ! That wasn't using rollback either, so some pretty immpresive gaming.
I think that rzx has an invincible poke. Take control over and fly into a wall.
After flying through the first brick wall, stay to the bottom when leaving the screen to the left and don't stop or fly up to avoid the wall in the next screen. Just keep left and press left/down when you reach the exit but before the wall covers the exit. There is no need to go into the screen to the top left of the map.
This is an easy part when you know how. The hardest screen is the one to the bottom left of the map with the cannon firing over a quick laser. Thats the only place I lose a life sometimes.
Remember once you get past the first brick wall (come on its not that hard !) fly all the way to the left, then instantly go left and wall 2 (the horizontal one) you dont have to shoot you can straight away fly in and under it (only from the left though not the right).
