I don't take 222222 score. About 109K score take place.

Aaaargh! Well, I knew my marginal lead wouldn't last too long.

Right, with a decent following wind and quite a lot of luck, I reckon I can beat that. Maybe not tonight though ;-)

[edit] Forget that, there's no way I'll get close, as something odd seems to have happened. It's now quite difficult to get through a single screen without one or other of the controls (usually left or right, but sometimes up, down or fire) becoming completely unresponsive - with Starquake being a pretty frantic game, that's bad news as it almost inevitably leads to loss of life. And as you said, the core screen is now in slow motion for some reason (although the rest of the game seems to be on normal speed).

Apparently there's been some changes made to the emulator recently, but whatever they were, they've rendered this pretty much unplayable now. Shame, I was enjoying it.

This game doesn't seem to work properly anymore... Each screen seems to load slower than usual, but everything else seems to have sped up, making some of the electric gates almost impossible to fly through. Also the sound effects are really high pitched, and the "core" screen at Quake doesn't display properly and takes ages to end!!

Managed to beat your score (not by a great deal, though). Had 4 more elements to find so, like you say, there's plenty of room for improvement. May the battle commence!! ;-)
